Since its inception, the Department of Human Services Child Welfare Leadership Academy has been instrumental in its efforts to promote child safety, permanency and well being – through leadership development; with the belief that every level of staff, regardless of title, has the ability to be a leader. The Department of Human Services Leadership Academy is committed to creating a culture where employees feel confident to actively engage in system transformation, while also discovering ways to improve their personal and professional growth.

    The Department of Human Services Leadership Academy consists of four Tiers:

    Tier 1: Frontline System Leaders
    Tier 2: Frontline Supervisors
    Tier 3: Middle Managers
    Tier 4: Senior Managers
